摘要
20世纪60年代末期,社会语言学作为一支新生力量异军突起,而作为其分支之一的性别语言学也获得了迅猛发展。本文将从词汇、语义、语言的非对称性和女性言语特色等方面对性别歧视在英语中的表现进行探讨。
In late 1960s, social linguistics as a new force suddenly rose. And sexual linguistics, as one of its branches, had also developed a lot. This research will concentrate on probing into the manifestation of the sexism in English in terms of lexicon, semantics, the non-symmetry of the language, and the characteristics of the feminine language and so forth.
