摘要
广西地处华南经济圈、西南经济圈与东盟经济圈的结合部，背靠中国大西南地区、面向东南亚，是中国-东盟自由贸易区的中心，也是大湄公河次区域合作（GMS）、泛北部湾经济合作、泛珠江三角洲经济合作、西南五省六方联盟等多个区域合作的交汇点，是中国沿海与东盟国家进行海陆交往的枢纽，是促进中国与东盟全面合作的重要桥梁和基地。
Guangxi, as the conjunction of muhi-regional cooperation mechanisms, becomes a strategically important player in international and Chinese domestic regional cooperation, and enjoys ample room for further development. In line with its own industrial features and development path, Guangxi now focuses on enhancing cooperation with the surrounding countries/regions and the adjacent Chinese domestic provinces/municipalities. It gives the priority to its bilateral links with Vietnam, and with a back of Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR, it will strive to perfect and maximize the role as a key passage and thus to maintain steady growth in a long run.
