X射线荧光光谱法测定锰结核中锰的价态 被引量:13

摘要 本文研究了锰的Kβ1.3谱线位移与元素价态之间的关系。以金属锰作为参考物质,测定不同化合物中MnKβ1.3谱线位移,它们的相对差值Δ2θ=2θ°(金属锰)—2θ°(样品),作为判断锰的价态依据。来源于太平洋深海中锰结核的锰价态主要以+4价存在。 X-ray MnK_(β1.3) second order cmission spectra of metallic Mn, MnSO_4, MnCl_2, Mn(NO_3)_2, Mn(AC)_2, MnCO_3, MnB_4O_7, MnBr_2, Mn_3O_4, MnO_2, KMnO_4 and Mn-nodules from deep sea of the Pacific Ocean are accurately measured by X-ray fluorescence method using Philips PW 1400 X-ray Spectrometer. Experimental results of the emission spectra of atoms show that they are influenced by chemical bond and valency. Redistribution of electron takes under the changed surrounding and then a change in the shape and position of the peak are observed. The present investigation aims at finding out the peak shift associated with K_(β1.3) second order emission of Mn of the subjects described above. The molecularorbital theory provides a suitable interpretation for X-ray K_(β1.3) emission spectra of Mn oxides and manganate. Tetravalent Mn is found in Mn-nodules.
