摘要
弱势群体是社会上在经济收入、社会地位、权益维护、竞争能力等多方面处于不利与困难境地的人群,他们是社会稳定的重要基础,他们合法权益的维护是构建和谐社会的应有之义。法律援助是保护弱势群体合法权益的有效方法,应当进一步提高立法层次,制定《法律援助法》,强化政府责任意识,完善对弱势群体法律援助的制度体系,充分保障弱势群体的自由和权利,促进社会和谐。
Weak colony is the public whose economic income, social class, maintenance for rights and competitive ability is of great disadvantage and they are the important base for social stability. Therefore in the construction of harmonious society, it is of great importance to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, of which legal aid is the effective way. It is obligatory to heighten legislation level, constitute Legal Aid Law, strengthen duty consciousness of government, improve the systems of legal aid for weak colony, safeguard adequately freedom and rights of weak colony.
