Hydrophobic modification of fiber and its papermaking performance

摘要 利用不同施胶剂分别对玻璃纤维和植物纤维进行浸渍改性,并研究其对纸张性能的影响。结果表明:不论是处理含有玻璃纤维的纸张还是将玻璃纤维处理后再与植物纤维配抄成纸,均可明显提高纸张的疏水性能,且纸张强度并未因玻璃纤维的疏水改性而降低;与阳离子分散松香胶相比,AKD乳液更适于改性玻璃纤维,即使由于玻璃纤维对纸张结合力的不利影响,成纸仍能获得较好的施胶效果。 Glass fiber and cellulose fibers were modified separately by different paper sizing agents to study the influence of the hydrophobic modified fibers on hydrophobicity and tensile strength. The results showed that whether disposing paper made by glass fiber or modifying glass fiber to make paper both can markedly improved the hydrophobicity of paper, and the tensile strength of paper does not decrease with the modification of glass fiber. Comparing with cationic rosin size, AKD emulsion is better to modify glass fiber and can sizing well even though the negative effect of fiberglass on the tensile strength of paper.
