摘要
研究了以双负材料为衬底的背腔微带天线的设计方法与电磁特性。采用S参数法提取双负材料异质填充结构的本构电磁参数,基于腔模理论与HFSS仿真相结合的方法设计了背腔双负微带天线,并进行了加工制作和测试。给出了双负材料电磁特性参数的提取结果、背腔双负微带天线的辐射方向图、端口S参数的计算机仿真与实测结果,以及背腔双负微带天线的单站RCS仿真曲线。结果表明:背腔双负微带天线较背腔普通微带天线具有更好的带宽特性和散射特性。
The design method and electromagnetic characteristics of cavity backed microstrip antenna with double negative (DNG) substrates are studied in the paper. The S-parameter retrieval method is adopted to retrieve the effective electromagnetic parameters for DNG media from reflection and transmission datas. The field structure of the cavity backed antenna is analyzed according to the cavity model theory. The cavity backed antenna with DNG substrates is designed and manufactured. The simulation results of S parameters, the radiation pattern and the monostatic RCS of the cavity backed antenna with DNG and conventional substrates are compared with experimental results. The results demonstrate that the cavity backed antennas with DNG substrates have better bandwidth and scatter characteristics than conventional microstrip antennas.
