本文分析了传统ＣＡＤ系统的缺陷，论述了智能ＣＡＤ系统是ＣＡＤ系统发展的必然趋势，特别讨论了专家系统的特点、组成及其作用，对专家系统在电器领域的应用和开发作了详细的讨论，并给出了应用实例。
The paper analyzes the shortcoming of the traditional CAD, states that intelligent CAD system is its infallible developing trend, discusses the character, construction and the function of expert system (ES) especially, studies the applying and developing of ES in the electrical apparatus field in detail and shows some applying samples.
