摘要
对陡波试验在检测复合绝缘子中的作用及陡波试验装置的原理作了介绍，叙述了复合绝缘子在生产中出现的各种缺陷，指出复合绝缘子出厂前必须进行陡波试验，以保证绝缘子在运行中的可靠性。
The contribution of steep front impulse test in composite insulator examination and principle of test devise are presented. Various kinds of defects of composite insulator in manufacturing are described. It is pointed out that the steep front impulse test is necessary in factory to ensure service reliability of insulators.
