用正比计数管探测单电子的试验研究

摘要 为了研究次级电子的分布规律,用充有各种不同组分和压力的气体的正比计数管探测单个初始电子及由此引起的次级电子数目的分布情况,其结果显示了次级电子脉冲分布不是一个简单的指数分布,在E/P值较低时有利于探测效果,是一个Fury分布;在E/P值较高时存在一个峰值,正比计数管工作电压越高,次级电子数目越多;气体分子的瞬时电离几率与次级电子数目和二次光电效应等因素有关。 In order to study the distribution characteristics of secondary electrons,proportional counter tube is used to detect secondary electrons distribution emitted by excitation of single primary electron under various gas components and pressure.Results show that the pulse distribution of secondary electrons isn't simple exponential functions:while E/P is low,which is favourable to detecting effect,it is a Furry distribution;while E/P is high,there exists a peak value,the higher the working voltage of proportional counter tube,the more the number of secondary electron emitted.The instantaneous ionization probability is dependent to number of secondary electrons and secondary pnotoelectric effect.
