摘要
公安专科院校英语教学既是高专英语教学的一个组成部分,也是公安教育的一个组成部分。公安院校的英语教学改革,应以适应警务实战发展的需求为基点,以教育部颁发的《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》为依据,注重培养学生的英语应用能力并体现公安特色。
English teaching in police vocational colleges is not only English teaching but also public security education. Likewise,the reforms of English teaching should center on the practical demand in light of the teaching requirement for English by the ministry of education, training the students＇ English comprehensive capability in relation to the police features.
