摘要
目前,将象似性理论应用于语篇分析、句法层面的研究较多,而将象似性应用于词汇教学的研究尚不多且不深入。文章将词汇象似性划分为语音象似性、词形象似性、结构相似性和家族象似性以及隐喻象似性,并从这五个方面探讨象似性应用于词汇教学的方法。
This paper aims to explore the ways and significance of applying the theory Of iconicity to English vocabulary teaching and help teachers to change the traditional mechanical way of teaching vocabulary. So far,there have been many studies that apply the theory of iconicity to text analysis and sentence study;however,there are not many thorough investigations into the application of this theory to vocabulary teaching. This paper divides lexical iconicity into five types named phonetic iconicity, morphological iconicity, structural iconicity, family leonicity and metaphorical iconicity,and makes an analysis of vocabulary teaching from these five aspects.
