摘要
1604年泉州大地震通常被列为我国有名的8级大震之一,是东南沿海地震带最重要的强震。本文通过对该震的史料研究,并与1918年南澳7.3级地震进行对比分析,结果表明,这次地震震级定为7 1/2级较合适。
The Quanzhou great earthquake of Fujian province in 1604 has be(?)n regarded as one of the famous great earthquakes (M=8.0)in China. It is the most important strong earthquake on the seismic belt along south-east coast. According to the study on its historical data and contrast with Nanao earthquake(M=7.3 ) n 1918, in this paper, we think the magnitude of this earthquake should be etermined to be 7.4.
