The optimum balance weight searth method released by Austrow at GE Company is introduced in this paper.It uses influence coefficient and some vibration data measured to determine the optimum balance weight.It proves the most important sensor-speed points for balance,and the best approach for tending to balance is provided, which is suited for computer aided balance.
