根据淬火介质冷却特性曲线上的几个特性值，选择淬火介质来预测钢淬硬能力和淬火变形开裂倾向，对提高零件质量有重要的实际意义。
Some specific values of cooling characteristics of quenchant can be used to forecast the steel hardening power, distortion and cracking susceptibility and select the quenchants. Results show practical potential for improving the quality of the parts.
