The section of Jane's attaining an unexpected legacy in the novel Jane Eyre has been always regarded as a redundant plot to create Jane's character especially her being a symbol of feminism. However, the thesis focuses on analyzing the rationality of this plot, especially on the basis of analyzing the social status in early Victorian Age and the author's life experience.
