The performance analysis model of MIN is accurate and efficient. This paper redefines the network switches input port states based on an analysis of their transformation and the dependency between adjacent ports, and constructs a precise model for the MIN performance analysis which supports multicasting using the probability theory and the queueing theory. For the first time, this paper uses conditional probability when computing the transformation of the port states, which reflects the reality much better. The experiments show that the difference between the results of this analysis model and simulation is less than 10%.
