摘要
梁启超的翻译理论和翻译实践在近代有过突出的影响,在许多领域都开风气之先。具体说来,梁启超的译学贡献主要体现在以下几个方面:(1)提出翻译强国的思想;(2)提出译书"首立三义"的要求;(3)主张由日文转译西书;(4)鼓吹政治小说翻译;(5)提倡用通俗语言翻译;(6)强调翻译的文化意义。
Liang Qichao＇s translation theory and practice once had a great influence in Modem China. The paper intends to rediscover his outstanding contributions to translation studies as follows： （I） advancement of building up a strong nation by means of translation; （2） requirements of ＂firstly setting up three criterion＂ of translation; （3）proposition of retranslating the Western works via Japanese versions; （4） advocacy of translating political novels;（5） insistency of using vulgar language when translating; （6） emphasis of the cultural construction of translation.
