栉孔扇贝对硅藻和甲藻细胞的选择性摄食初探 被引量:12

Preliminary Study on Selective Feeding of the Scallop(Chlamys farreri) on Diatom and Dinoflagellate Cells

摘要 硅、甲藻类是浮游植物中的2个主要功能类群,传统上认为硅藻类是贝类的主要饵料。通过饲喂单种和混合藻液实验初步研究了栉孔扇贝对我国近海硅藻(中肋骨条藻和小角毛藻)、甲藻(东海原甲藻)常见种的摄食选择性。实验结果表明栉孔扇贝对东海原甲藻的摄食率和摄食选择效率均高于2种硅藻,即,相比2种硅藻,栉孔扇贝更倾向选择摄食东海原甲藻。这与传统认识有异,提示需进一步全面认识甲藻类群在海洋生态系统中的功能定位。 Diatom and dinoflagellate are two major functional groups of phytoplankton, of which diatom traditionally is regarded as main food sources for bivalves. Both mono- and mixo- specific feeding experiments were conducted to study the feeding selectivity of the scallop on common species of diatom (Skeletonema costatum , Chaetoceros minutissimus ) and dinoflagellate (Prorocentrum donghaiense = Prorocentrum clentaturn) in China coastal waters. The results revealed that scallop's ingestion rates and selection efficiency for Prorocentrum donghaiense are higher than those for Skeletonema costatum and Chaetoceros minutissimus , indicating that scallops preferentially feed on dinoflagellate to diatom. This finding is different from the traditional perception and suggests further evaluation of the functional role of dinoflagellate in marine ecosystem.
