摘要
世博会作为超巨型的城市事件,也只是主办地城市发展长河中的一个短暂片段,况且更不能在一个城市中周期性地举办。如何将这种一次性的短期事件转化成为城市发展的长期效用,这是国际建筑和城市学界最近20年反复持续的话题。上海世博会的规划设计,就是在这样的学术语境中,首先审视的是规划主体,而非设计的客体。即把世博园区场地的物质规划的行动,建立在"规划设计师在此时此地应该干什么"的思想基础上。设计哲学上表达为"设计的设计"命题。答案是四个系列的途径:实验生态城区,示范城市更新,提升都市业态,营造和谐文化,其规划设计的标的落到一个点上:催化新一代的永续城市的诞生。从而使这一短期盛事超越其存在的时空,外推其对抽象观念的"城市"产生长远的作用。
As an urabn mega event, World Expo is temporary for the host cities. While, how to develop the influences of such kind of short term events to have long-term effects for urben development, has been discussed for the latest 20 years. In such background, what is first important for us is the subject rather than the object, when we do the planning for Shanghai 2010 Expo.The planners should really and clearly know ＂what to do＂ before the actual planning, that means a planning for planning. For the planning of Shanghai 2010 Expo Shanghai is intended to be a experimental case of future urban sustainability which includes four aspacts： to be an experimental ecological city, to be an urban regeneration model, to Improve urban economic condition, to create harmonious culture under globalization.Thus, to achieve the unique purpose to transform the short-term mega event into a catalyst for urban sustainablity in the future.
