The 175 meter high building unit of the Metzler/LHB-high-rise is based on a H- shaped ground plan, which allows for the greatest possible number of extraordinarily flexible, office spaces all lit from two sides. The striving of the design for an independent appearance of the high-rise - especially in the direction of the city wall - is clearly indicated by the modeling of the high-rise glass pane as a lightly swung building component. Together with the significant diagonal cut terminating the upper part of the building, the swung facade fulfils to a high degree the task set by Metzler and the LHB Internationale Handelsbank to create an unmistakable address.
