摘要
历史剧中的人物形象是历史真实与艺术真实的主要聚焦点。莎士比亚在历史剧中运用"浮雕式"、连贯性、类型与个性以及情境中的动态映衬等多种方法,塑造了众多鲜活生动的人物形象,构建了一座历史剧的艺术大厦。莎士比亚在这方面的探索,对后世乃至中国当代历史题材作品中的人物塑造具有极大的启示作用。
Character images in historical plays are often considered in relation to historical truth and artistic truth. In his historical plays, Shakespeare has created many vivid characters through the methods of embossment, consistence, typification or individuation, and foil. His exploration of the methods of characterization in his historical plays has been an inspiration to his successors and even to Chinese writers who deal with historical subjects in the contemporary time.
