This paper takes the common fault of the gear pump in the work process for example, analyzes in detail the fault reason and introduces, the means of removing faults in the concrete, by which the gear pump faults are handled easily by the operators. Moreover it points out that the everyday maintenance and administration of the gear pump should be tightened to reduce the unnecessary damage of the pump.
