摘要
对基于Dexel模型的NC加工仿真和验证进行了研究。在物空间中模拟NC加工的材料去除过程及验证加工结果,使用独立的坐标系构造物体的Dexel模型,以支持观察定义的动态改变,并通过“移动实例”来近似描述刀具扫描体,从而提高五轴NC加工仿真计算效率。
One already completed Chinese CAD/CAM research and development project included, among many items, the simulation of NC milling using Dexel model. Dexel is short for depth element. Dexel model leads to high speed computation, so it is especially effective for simulation of threeaxis NC milling. We overcame two difficulties in order to make Dexel model applicable to real time simulation of fiveaxis NC miling in object space. The first difficulty is that the part to be machined is ever changing its position, i.e., the body in Fig.1 is ever changing its coordinates in the x,y,z coordinate system. We record its coordinates when the body is in a certain position. In our software, we make the transformation of these recorded coordinates into coordinates in any other position automatic. The second difficulty is that the tool axis is ever changing its position as shown in Fig.3. Our software makes it possible to obtain the swept volume of the tool automatically.
