摘要
基于以太网的无源光网络(EPON)被认为是当前解决接入网问题的最佳方案,首先介绍PON与EPON的概念,在此基础上介绍EPON的基本结构和工作原理及其主要优点,说明EPON需要解决的关键技术问题。
Ethernet Passive Optical Network（EPON） is considered to be the best way of resolving the current network access.This paper first introduces the concept of PON and EPON,and then introduces the basic structure and the major advantages of EPON,the working principle of EPON,and the key technical issues of EPON which need to be resolved.
