Electromagnetic compatibility and electrical safety requirement in NEBS certification are mainly restricted according to GR-1089-CORE .This article mainly introduced the requirement of GR-1089-CORE to lightning surge generator, moreover, it discussed the design of lightning surge generator according to the requirements of GR-1089-CORE to the output characteristic of lightning surge generator.
