摘要
利用国家天文台自主研发的行星地球的地震预警系统(测试版)考察2008年5月12日发生在四川汶川的8级地震,处理结果表明系统对该地震有所反应,预警曲线发生异常,且距实际地震日的误差仅8天.表明若事先对该地扫描,则有可能提前预警.工作指出该地域在2008年5~8月间须防范6级以上强震.
The Earthquake Warning System (Test Version) upon the planet Earth which has been developed independently by the National Astronomical Observatories of Chinese Academy of Sciences. We employ it to investigate the Wenchuan M8 Earthquake, which occurred on May 12, 2008. In the prediction curve the abnormality can be de- tected and it gives an 8-day deviation behind the real quake date. It is pointed out that if we scanned this area before the quake, the possible warning information may be obtained earlier. This work also indexes the hazard periods for M≥6 quakes that will probably happen there from May to August in 2008.
