The paper briefly describes the operating principle of the door lifting mechanism for reheating furnace in Wide Plate Rolling Plant of Shaoguan Iron and Steel Group Corp. Ltd, analyzes the fault on the hydraulic system for furnace door lifting and rectifies original design.
