Abstract There is some strong frequency modulation in Stokes beam in SBS. It reduce the quality of beam. In this paper we use pure C 3H 6O as the medium of SBS. We can obtained the near and far-field pot of Stokes. In fact, strong frequency modulation in Stokes field can be reduced tremendously by purification of SBS medium.
