摘要
双平面食管超声心动图能够克服老年人由于肥胖和其它因素引起的图像不清晰而获得满意的效果。它能够准确地诊断风湿性瓣膜病、明确先天和后天心脏病的病因，明确其性质、程度和了解其血液动力学的改变；观察主动脉和冠状动脉的异常及主动脉夹层动脉瘤病变，鉴别瓣膜病和心脏扩大，双平面食管超声心动图对中老年心脏病的诊断明显优于经胸超声心动图。
The results show that Double Plane Transesophageal Echocardiography can be successfully performed in all cases of the aged and can overcome unclear image caused because of fat and other factors.It can accurately diagnose the rheumatic valvular heart disease, determine the causes of congenital and acquired heart diseases, find out their nature, degrees and hemodymatic changes, observe the abnormal aorta and coronary arteries, distinguish valvular diseases and heart dilation.It is better than Echocardiography.
