摘要
喜山运动以来,内蒙狼山地区的差异升降运动异常强烈。主要表现在:1)狼山隆起不断抬升,已呈巍峨挺拔之势,2)河套断陷大幅度沉降,仅第四系沉积物就厚达1500m以上;3)活动断裂非常发育,新构造形迹十分丰富;4)物探资料具有明确的显示;5)现代地震活动频繁。大量资料表明:全新世中、晚期乃至现代本区仍有明显的活动性。
The differential elevation and subsidence of the Langshan area, Nei Mongol has become extremely strong since the Himalayan Movement, chiefly showing as follows: 1. continuous elevation of the Langshan upwarping with lofty mountains; 2. strong subsidence of Hetao Fault Basin in which more than 1500m thick Quaternary sediments have been accumulated; 3. existence of well-developed active faults and abundant neotectonic overprinting; 4. evidence in geophysical prospection; 5. frequent earthquake activities. A vast amount of geological data has shown that this area has been active from the Middle and Late Holocene Epochs to the present time.
