摘要
等离子体显示器(PDP)因其大尺寸、高响应速度等优点占据了较大的大屏幕高清晰度电视市场,但是对比度性能作为图像质量的关键技术指标仍有提高的余地。从结构、波形、算法等几个方面介绍了提高PDP对比度的常用技术,包括黑条结构、色彩滤波、改善驱动波形、分割低灰度子场、直方图均衡化等,并分析了它们的优缺点。
Plasma display panel conquered considerable part of the TV market due to its large size, quick response time, etc. However, as a major parameter of image quality, contrast need to be further improved. The main technologies used to enhance the contrast of PDP from structure, waveform, and algorithms, including black stripe, color filter, waveform optimization, segment of lower-gray level subfield, and histogram equalization are introduced. Their advantages and shortcomings are discussed.
