摘要
在这个时代,审美经验和普通经验发生了分裂。杜威和马克思对资本主义时代一些关键问题的分析为我们考察这种分裂提供了有意义的视角。首先,私有制所造成的两重片面性,使得艺术分裂为资本和直接被占有的东西。其次,手段和目的彻底分裂的雇佣劳动,招致了艺术和劳动的分裂。这些问题的解决在于一种彻底的社会改造,惟其如此,才有可能恢复审美经验和正常生活进程之间的连续性。
In this present age, there appears a split between aesthetic experience and empirical experience. With the help of Dewey＇s and Marx＇s analyses of some major problems, this split could be perceived in a new light. Firstly, the twofold unilateralism caused by capitalist private ownership results in the division of art as capital and something to be immediately possessed. Secondly, art is divorced from labor as a result of the insulation between means and end in wage-labor. The solution to all these problems may lie in a radical social reform. It is only in this way that it is possible to restore the continuity between aesthetic experience and normal process of living.
