A Preliminary Report on the Summer Water Resources Used by Equus Przewalskii

摘要 对于卡拉麦里山有蹄类自然保护区内放归的普氏野马夏季水源地利用现状调查,结果显示夏季保护区内野马所能利用的水源有两种类型,一是地表径流形成的黄泥滩积水,二是浅层地下水形成的泉水。从2003-2005年我们共发现黄泥滩积水水源18处,泉水水源2处。黄泥滩水源被野马优先选择利用,水质优于泉水水源,但水量和积存时间年度变化大。泉水水源水量相对稳定,对野马的生存起到至关重要作用。野马活动区内可利用的泉水水源过少,距离216国道较近,受人为活动的干扰较为严重。 The research of Equus Przewalskii re--introduced in Karamori Mountain Nature Reserve using summer water resources shows that there are two types water resources which Equus can use, one is the seeper resource formed by runoff water, and the other springs formed by shallow groundwater. We have found a total of 18 resource of seeper, 2 resource of spring water from 2003 to 2005. The first choice by Equus przewalskii is seeper water, as it is better than the spring water in quality, but it changes grealy in capacity and accumulation with year. Since the spring water is relatively stable in quantity, it plays a crucial role for the survival of Equus. The usable spring water resources in the Equss area are few, and are affected seriously by human activities as they are close to 216 National Highway.
