摘要
本文报道了一个结构特殊的两维读出多丝正比室。它的定位精度好于0.3mm,在垂直于丝方向的定位精度好于0.2mm。
A delicate multiple-wire proportional chamber has been constructed.A special readout mode has been used. The whole system was tested by cosmic rays and accelerator beam. The accuracy of 0.3mm for locating the space coordinates through which a charged particle track passes has been reached. The position accuracy along the direction perpendicular to the anode wires is better than 0.2mm.
