摘要
提出了基于人眼视觉属性和应用小波树结构快速图象编码的矢量量化图象编码方法,简称为树结构快速矢量量化编码。在分析此方法矢量量化特点之后,设计产生码本的统计方法,并提出了矢量量化编码的快速算法。该方法能有效地消除图象数据的空间相关性,获得低传输位率。其最大优点是能够建立适合各种复杂图象数据的统计码本,不必每次处理都要产生码本,极大地提高了编码效率,能应用于小波变换任何图象和信号数据压缩的情况。实验结果表明:树结构快速矢量量化编码方法能获得40倍压缩比,峰值信噪比为36.21dB,综合性能指标优于其它方法,有可能实现实时数据压缩。
A fast VQ image coding method based on humans visual attribution and applying wavelet treestructure is proposed in this paper,naming treestructure fast VQ coding.After the characteristics of VQ was analyzed,a statistic method generating a codebook was designed,and a fast VQ coding method was represented.This method can efficiently remove correlation in image data, obtaining a low transmission bit stream.The apparent advantage of the method is to establish statistics codebooks for various image data,and each treating need not generate codebooks with a high coding efficient achieved, while it can apply to any opportunity with wavelet transformation used in various image and signal data compression.The experimental results show:The fast VQ coding method proposed in this paper can achieve a compression ratio of 40 with a PSNR of 36.21dB,while its total performance is superior to other methods,and a realtime compression using this method may be implemented.
