摘要
《古代.祈盼的青春》是一篇由8位海外华文网络女作家共同完成的接龙小说。这篇类似中国武侠的言情故事,却是非常典型而又极富特色的跨文化语境创作的作品,在表现海外第一代中国移民于中西文字、文化、文明的差异和冲突上尤见特色。小说巧妙地应用着中国式的象征手法,并把西方的、现代的意象与中国古典的意象超现实组合,展示了海外华文作品的丰富内涵,是一篇较为成功的接龙小说。
Ancient Times： Youth of Hope is a relay story written by eight overseas Chinese women writers. The story is similar to traditional Chinese warrior romances but is a typical literar; work of crosscultural creation with its special features in depicting the differences and conflicts in language, culture, and civilization as experienced by flrst-generatlon Chinese immigrants. It is a success in literary creation as it skillfully employs Chinese symbolism, super-realistically combines Western and modern images with traditional Chinese images, and manifests the richness of overseas Chinese literature.
