摘要
提出了一种基于光学Morlet小波的指纹滤波方法,给出了Morlet小波滤波器对输入指纹图像实现边缘增强的计算机模拟结果,同时将计算机编程生成的Morlet滤波器应用在光学4f系统中,输出平面将获得指纹图像的边缘提取。实验结果表明:本文给出的这种方法能够达到图像边缘增强的效果,同时又利用了光学方法快速并行的优点。这一研究结果有助于提高指纹识别的速度。
A novel fingerprint enhancement method based on optical Morlet wavelet filter was proposed. The edge-extracting computer simulation result of the input fingerprint image is realized by Morlet wavelet transform. In addition, the computer generated Morlet filter was put on one 4f optical system, which convoluted with input signal. The edge -enhanced fingerprint image was obtained on the output plate. Experimental results indicate that the method improves the effect of edge-enhancement on fingerprint image and utilizing the fast parallel virtue of optical means. This result is help to improve the speed of fingerprint recognition.
