摘要
文化外交是周恩来外交遗产中的宝贵财富。作为新中国首任外交部长,周恩来创造性地运用多样化的文化载体,开展卓有成效的文化外交,为塑造新中国形象、改善国际舆论、打开新中国外交局面做出了杰出的贡献。本文认为周恩来的文化外交为今天中国文化外交的开展提供了有益的启示,即:文化外交的有效开展,在个体层面上要求外交官既要具有高度民族文化自觉,又能够对外国文化抱持开放和宽容的态度,在国家层面上则要求淡化意识形态,要求国内政治和文化环境的配套和支持。
Cultural diplomacy is an important part of Zhou En-lai＇s diplomacy legacy. As the first foreign minister of P,R.C., Zhou En-lai contributed remarkably to improving China＇s national image and changing the international public opinion of New China by making the best use of cultural diplomacy. Having made comprehensive analysis of Premier Zhou＇s culture diplomacy, the author argues that several factors are essential to the successful development of cultural diplomacy. Individually, diplomats must have profound national culture consciousness and an open attitude towards other nations＇ culture.
