由于政策、燃油品质等种种原因，我国的柴油车，尤其是柴油乘用车，一直没有得到相应的发展。尤其是当下，在一片新能源车开发的热潮中，柴油车更是不为企业和社会所关注。然而，在注重环保节能的欧洲，其柴油乘用车的普及率已经高达40％；日本亦对清洁柴油机技术的发展提出了目标；就连一向不重视柴油车发展的美国，也在今年2月份公布了支持柴油车发展的专家报告。
Since the reasons of policy, fuel quality etc., the diesel vehicle, especially the diesel passenger vehicle have not developed correspondingly. Nowadays especially in the upsurge of new energy vehicle development, no enterprise and society pay attention to diesel vehicle. However, in Europe, which concentrates to environment and energy-saving, the popular rate of diesel passenger vehicle is up to 40%. In Japan, it also sets a goal to develop clean diesel engine technology. Even in US, it always did not seriously develop diesel vehicle in the past time, but an expert report about support development of diesel vehicle was announced in this February.
