On account of the uniqueness of the subject of computer music, re-creation is necessary in the transformation from original terms in the source language (English etc. ) to terms in the object language (Chinese etc. ). Some words become new terms through adding new special or technological meaning of computer music to common words. ' Instrument ' , for example, breaks through the' original common meaning. Translated in the original way, this will cause confusion. Then it will be necessary to create a new word. In a perfect situation, the new word should consider the pronunciation and meaning of the original word, and even the hieroglyphic beauty of the Chinese character. Other terms come from the combination of some common scientific and technological terms (e. g. wave-terrain). When used with other words, these compound words often appear not to be terse enough. Therefore, these new terms should be translated according to their connotation. A concept of "connotation-transliteration", which strains the interpretation according to the pronunciation of the term, was proposed from the point of view of translation studies.
