本文介绍了在FoxPro下采用SQL结构化查询语言编制情报检索程序以提高检索速度的做法．比较了FoxBase+检索程序与SQL检索程序在检索时间等方面的差异。
The procedure of writing an information retrieval program with SQL in the Foxpro environment is detailed. A comparison of the program with that written in the FoxBase+ shows that the former can remarkably increase the retrieval speed of an information retrieval system.
