摘要
There are a lot of color words in both English and Chinese. The color words in both English and Chinese can be divided into two parts： basic color words and real-stuff based color words. In this paper the formation, syntactic functions and characteristics of English and Chinese color words have been analytically studied, and some differences and similarities of English and Chinese color words have been summed up.
英漠两种语言中都存在着大量的颜色词，颜色词在两种语言中也都可以被分为基本颜色词和实物颜色词，文章封英漠基本颜色词和实物颜色词的形态结构、句法功能和表达方式的特点做了对比分析，并总结了一些英漠颜色词在使用中的异同之处。
