摘要
明清时期,潮州的械斗现象非常突出,构成了严重的社会问题。械斗问题的形成是在商品经济日益取代自然经济的大环境下,社会两极分化、吏治腐败和民众生存环境恶化等因素共同作用的结果。械斗问题反映了传统秩序的崩溃,标志着传统社会的终结。
In Ming and Qing Dynasties,the phenomenon of weapon fightings in Chaozhou was a very severe social problem. This problem was the result from the integrated workings of quite a few elements in the context where natural economy was being replaced by commodity economy. These elements included social polarizations,political corruption and the deterioration of public living environment. Fightings with weapons reflected the breakdown of the traditional order and the conclusion of the traditional society.
