摘要
在高校图书馆的文献购置经费支出构成中,用于购置外文原版期刊的经费支出占了相当大的比例。面对经费紧张的压力,部分高校图书馆已经陆续开始调整原版期刊的订购数量。在经费有限的情况下如何对印刷型期刊进行取舍?如何保障核心期刊的馆藏连续性?对外文原版期刊进行系统性地评价是解决该问题的有效途径。本文通过对JCR数据库、影响因子的介绍,试图说明其在评价学术期刊质量上所起到的重要作用。
Facing the challenge of the expense shortage, many university libraries decrease the purchase of foreign periodicals. On the basis of using the JCR database to evaluate foreign academic periodicals, the author believes that the Impact Factor is an important tools which has some advantage effects and scientific features. The librarians can decide which periodicals are needed by JCR and Impact Factor.
