摘要
传播发展一方面受到社会整体发展水平的制约,另方面又能促进整个社会的全面进步。传播发展的内涵丰富多彩,要考察特定国家新闻传播的发展,有八个维度是必须予以关注的:相对独立的政治地位;开放多元的媒介结构;较少的报道禁忌与较大的监督空间;经济自给;媒介具有一定的公信力;从业者的职业意识和专业精神;媒介结构合理与较高的普及水平;受众信息需求的最大满足。由于传播发展是动态的历史过程,象征传播发展的具体指标和考察传播发展的维度,当然不会固定不变。
The development of communication is, on one hand, limited by the global level of social development and, on the other, promotes social development. The connotation of communication development is rich, which requires the reseachers to take the following eight dimensions into consideration when studying a certain country＇ s development of journalism and communication： relatively independent political status; open and plural media structure; less reporting restrictions and more space; financial self-sufficiency; media credibility; journalistic practitioners＇ professional awareness and professionalism; reasonable media structure and wider popularization; satisfaction of the audience＇s need for information. Since communication development is a dynamic historical process, the concrete indexes that symbolize it and the dimensions through which we study it will of course keep changing.
