摘要
20世纪30年代,在保守士绅的极力推动和何键的支持下,湖南开展了规模宏大的尊孔祀孔活动,这场活动从1927年开始到1937年止,持续了十年时间;它从省城开始,波及到各县市,涉及范围相当广,卷入的群体范围也相当大。无论是从当时祀孔的形式还是从祀孔的内容来看,保守气息都十分浓厚,对湖南文化教育产生了重大冲击,各种教育设施、教育场所都打上尊孔祀孔的烙印,特别是为读经运动在湖南的开展埋下了伏笔。
In 1930, Hunan developed a vast activity of esteeming Confucius which supported by conservative pelple and HeJian. This activity lasted from 1927 to 1937, involved mass scope from provincial capital to every county and involved in mass groups from govern- ment officials to school pupils. The conservative flavor was very dense not only in its form but its content. All this affected on Hunan, education installation and place was printed the brand of esteeming and sacrifices Confucius, especially made a preparation for the activity of Reading Classics in Hunan.
