基于3龄幼虫首次描述了中国5种蜉金龟幼虫的形态特征,分别是:方胸蜉金龟Aphodius quadratus Reiche、黄缘蜉金龟A.sublimbatus Motschulsky、直蜉金龟A.rectus Motschulsky和黑蜉金龟A.breviusculus Motschulsky、游荡蜉金龟A.erraticus(Linnaeus)(补充描记)。文中列出了中国蜉金龟幼虫的分种检索表。主要鉴别特征是:头部、内唇和臀节等。
This paper deals with the morphological characteristics of the third instar larvae of the following five species of the genus Aphodius： Aphodius quadratus Reiche, A. sublimbatus Motschulsky, A. rectus Motschulsky, A. breviusculus Motschulsky and A. erraticus（Linnaeus）. The former four species are described for the first time. A key to larvae of Aphodius in China is proposed.
