本文讨论了ＡＴＭ网络中ＡＢＲ业务的特性及基于ＡＢＲ业务的拥塞控制机制，论述了拥塞控制技术的最新发展情况，并比较了各种控制机制的优缺点。
This paper gives an overview of the recent developments of ABR service-based congestion control in ATM neworks , and shows the characteristics of the ABR service as well as the differences between the rate-based and credit- based congestion control mechanesms
