摘要
合格外语教师标准的制定是外语教师教育的前提和依据。外语教师标准的制定涉及到传统、时代、人材规格及国内外相关的研究成果等因素。合格外语教师应满足职业道德标准、专业标准和心理标准等方面的要求。
This paper argues that the standards for qualified EFL teachers should be laid down, which are the prerequisite and foundation for EFL teacher education. It first analyzes various factors that affect the standards, and then explores the qualities that a qualified EFL teacher should possess from three aspects, i. e. , professional-ethics standard, professional standard and psychological standard.
