摘要
研究了碲酸盐玻璃中不同浓度Tm3+离子掺杂的发光特性,探讨了不同Tm3+离子浓度对发光强度的影响以及交叉弛豫的机理。通过测量不同浓度Tm2O3的3H4能级寿命,计算了Tm3+离子的交叉弛豫速率。结果表明,交叉弛豫速率随着Tm3+离子浓度的增加而迅速增大。Tm3+离子之间的交叉弛豫过程能有效地提高1.8μm发光强度。
The spectroscopic characteristics of Tm^3+ tellurite-doped glasses have been investigated in the present paper. The influence of Tm^3+ ions concentration on the intensity of 1.8 μm emission and the cross-relaxation mechanism are discussed. The cross-relaxation rates between the ^3H4→^3F4 and ^3H6→^3F4 were calculated via the measured lifetime of ^3H4. The results show that the rates increases sharply with the increase of Tm^3+ ions concentration. The 1.8 μm emission intensity can be effectively improved through the cross-relaxation process.
